Yusuf M. Veteran Posted June 26, 2013 Veteran Share Posted June 26, 2013 No, just... no. This idea screws over people that can't download games for various reasons (e.g. bandwidth limit, slow download speed, unstable Internet connection, etc). Only the publishers will benefit from something like this and that shouldn't be the focus. Consumers should be the focus. If it benefits us, then we'd likely support it. If it doesn't, then screw it. It doesn't make a lot of sense to alienate a good portion of potential customers by offering games digitally first. What's wrong with a simultaneous digital and physical release so people have the option of choosing one or the other? Removing an option and restricting consumers isn't something I'd support. And I don't think it's something gamers would support.
