Add my existing (and linked) Outlook account to my other Outlook account as

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I have 3 different Outlook accounts. One of them is my primary one, the other 2 are linked to this one.

Microsoft will remove the possibility of using linked accounts, that's why I want to use these 2 other Outlook accounts as Aliases to my primary account.

But because they are existing accounts, I'm not allowed to use them as Aliases - or at least I didn't find a way.

Are there any solutions for this problem?

Thanks!

And the official reply:

Can I join together two Microsoft accounts by making one an alias of the other?

Practically speaking, you can't turn an existing Microsoft account into an alias. You'd have to cancel the account, wait 365 days for the email address to be released (at which point it would be available to anyone) and then make the address an alias.

Ok. So maybe next year...
