Man poops inside Holland Tunnel, traffic stopped

Westbound lanes at the Holland Tunnel were briefly closed to traffic last night after a California man exited a vehicle and defecated inside a tunnel booth,  :|  officials said.

Kevin Nam, 21, was charged with trespassing after Port Authority police saw him exit a car that was driving in the north tunnel and walk inside a tunnel booth where Nam was caught defecating, Port Authority spokesperson Steven Coleman said.

The incident occurred around 10 p.m. and forced the closure of the north tunnel for 5 to 10 minutes as police conducted a ?standardized security sweep,? Coleman said.

Nam was in the car with three other passengers when he told the driver he felt sick, Coleman said, he then told the driver to let him out as they were driving in the tunnel.

A security camera observed Nam walking in the tunnel to a booth where he was later apprehended by police.

To his defense, that tunnel does look like a toilet with those tiles, unless it has changed since Google Maps put up their photos
