That many posts on your account and you don't even bother to read?
I have not had any issues with it at all, running all sorts of metro apps, i have rebooted several times and run windows updates, everything seams to run without issue for me.

I have upgraded from the ISO and didn't even notice that the text is gone but it was there on first boot

Did you try the PaintDesktopVersion Registry key?
The preview watermark has nothing to do with this registry key.

It can be done with a little AutoHotkey GUI picture script to cover the text and Photoshop for matching the GUI picture to the desktop wallpaper you can even put an action label to launch or do something on that part of the screen
