Did the menu alignment change to the right for everyone after installing 8.1?

Happened on my desktop and my Surface.

To test, open notepad, click file menu.

Yup, I get exactly the same thing on my Surface Pro, click one of the menu names at the top of the program and when the menu pops up it is on the left instead of the right.

After more research... there is a registry key that controls this.

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Windows

MenuDropAlignment

1 means left, 0 means right

HOWEVER -- they seemed to have changed the meaning of this in 8.1. When I set it to 0 it looks correct.

Must be a bug.
