Is IE11 on Windows 8.1 the final version?

Recommended Posts

I'm having some rendering issues on my intranet applications on IE11, I'm wondering if the versi?n shipped in Windows 8.1 Preview is the final versi?n or not to start working on a solution, even though this is the only browser with I'm been having troubles so far

Why would it be the final version? If it's on a "preview" version of windows i'm just going to take a wild guess and say It's a preview"

In the "About Internet Explorer" window, it says it's a Preview and only beta software has the feedback buttons. IE11 on Windows 8.1 Preview is a Preview...

Thanks,

I know it's a preview but the idea of a possible final versi?n has been bugging me

It's not the final version. If you check the about window of IE11, it says it's only a "preview".

For the matter: every IE in a testversion of Windows is non-final.

No, the version included with the Windows 8.1 Pro Preview is only a preview. Even the About Internet Explorer dialog box displays an option to "install new versions automatically."
