Arvixe (http://www.arvixe.com) has been pretty reliable for me with a great customer service.

I went ahead and got a domain in this host you suggested. So far, so good. I used RapidWeaver to create my website on the Mac. It was a snap. I got a great deal for $5.63 a month with an online coupon I found and I can cancel any time. Their customer service is excellent. Very easy to use interface. Thanks.

Thanks all for your inputs.

Avoid Blue Host. I had an account with them a few years ago and their downtime and lack of support were terrible. I had to transfer my site to Just Host (a much better service) because of Blue Host's terrible downtime. Also, once your site gets above a certain size, they shut it off. Read some actual customer reviews and you'll see. Stay away!

I use Bluehost and haven't had any problems.  But just FYI (as I just learned this a few days ago) the company that owns bluehost also owns justhost and a bunch of others: http://en.wikipedia....rnational_Group
