Windows 8.1: Can tiles in All Apps be unpinned?

Recommended Posts

I would like to clean up my All Apps screen.

There are a lot of tiles I don't need, like Microsoft Clip Organizer, Microsoft Office Picture Manager etc.

There is no "Unpin" option when the tile is right-clicked.

If it is not a Metro app, then you go open its location and delete the shortcut.

Thank you. Worked like a charm.

I now have a single screen of tiles, sorted by most used.

I wish getting rid of tiles was as easy as it is in the start screen, though.

I figure they'll add more options to that list in time.  Maybe in version 8.2 or whatever comes next.
