I think its worrisome and quite an anomaly that 3+ tornados have actually formed in my state of Connecticut within weeks of each other causing damage. My state isn't well known for Tornados and its not that common for them to touch down.

Oh you are in CT? :cool:

 

Odd guess I haven't been paying attention to the news lately but none down in southern Fairfield county. Still that's freaking crazy, 3 tornados? WTF? :blink:

A cluster east of Tornado Alley sometimes happens in summer when fast moving fronts move through, sometimes serially. If the front is 250+ miles long with 58+ mph winds it's a derecho, and believe me you don't want to be in the middle of one of those.
