Simple but professional video maker

Question

Anyone knows of any simple but professional video maker? Like tons of professionally done templates for the user to simply insert their photos and videos into it to make a video. I know there are many templates for Adobe After Effects but it is still too complicated to use :/

Thank You :D

WMM; it's not the best but it's simple and with templates and add-ons it can make more out of the box. Yet for professional editing Final Cut Pro or Premier / After Effects are the tools to look for.

Also just for video editing / encoding / scripting: virtualdub / Nandub.

I think Windows Media player is great and it is simple.

This sounds like the perfect use-case for OpenShot. The current stable version runs exclusively on GNU/Linux, but the authors are working on adding support for Windows and OS X as well. If you would like to try it now but don't run a Linux distribution, download the AV Linux Live DVD from OpenShot's download page to get a live environment with OpenShot pre-installed.

Lightworks?

I don't think it can actually be qualified as "simple" (I haven't used it, just going by people's coments) but it's definitely more professional than your average free video editor.
