There are a couple in the UK (I work for a Mobile provider). However, they tend to try and blend them in as street lighting instead.

I think the issue is that people believe this is some sort of deception.  I am quite sure all the conspiracy theorists love this crap - but the truth is that they are unsightly items and they are doing their best (within reason) to not have them stand out.  Hide them or disguise them.

That last photo is of the merritt right across the border into NY coming from CT. I see that damn eye-sore every time we go into the city. I think it's actually more distracting than if it were a plain cell tower, because it looks stupidly fake.
