Chromecast is stupid.. 


It's basically a web page that runs on a Chromecast device.. there is no app streaming.. this is basically Chrome browser on a USB stick with websockets used to communicate with the app on a device. 


It's useless for anything other than simple video and audio and it's limited to the performance of the actual Chromecast stick and not the device you are running an app or video on.


There is no mirroring on anything but Chrome browser page. 






But then again, it's $35 so I guess not much to complain about.
