Mercedes mysteriously bursts into flames

CROWDS gathered at Bluewater after a green Mercedes burst into flames in the car park this morning.

Firefighters were called to the Greenhithe shopping centre at 9.58am to reports of a car alight.

Crews used a hose reel and breathing apparatus to extinguish the flames on the Mercedes CLC.

 They later used COBRA ? a cutting extinguisher ? to put out the fire in difficult to access parts of the vehicle.

Firefighters left the scene at 10.17am.

Maybe Mercedes are starting to use some of Ferrari's manufacturing methods.  Glad it isn't my model though.
