A wife take a travelling case home, yelling to her husband:" I am done enough to you, I will go to my mom's place." The husband said:" you're late, you know. you mom just arrived with a travelling case because she told your dad the same thing you just told me."

Was this joke translated from English into a foriegn language, then back into English? It seems to have lost a few points, including timing and format.
