Hi guys, iv noticed something strange when i was looking in my notification area that windows is saying i have got removable drives attached but all i have are my hard drives. iv attached a picture to explain what i mean. Does anyone have any idea why this has happened?

Because the controller supports ejection - it doesn't mean you can remove the drive since a drive in use can't be ejected anyway.

In short, don't worry about it.

this has been an issue since XP, sometimes when you remove a flash drive it does not fully eject it properly and it will keep a "Ghost" of the device, there are a few things i have been able to successfully remove them in the past, usually a reboot will get rid of them but if they do not, you can try ejecting them (right click eject) or run ccleaner or any other register cleaner should get rid of them.
