Is it safe to upgrade Nexus 7 with Admin access (First Edition) to Android

Hey all,

 

I just received an OTA prompt to update my Nexus 7 (rooted) to Android 4.3.

 

Is it safe to do the upgrade on a rooted Nexus 7? Everything is original, I just have admin access that is all.

 

After the upgrade, will I still have admin access or will this be taken away and will have to go through the procedure again to gain admin access?
