Mystery Windows 8 8" Tablet on recent episode of Burn Notice

Recommended Posts

Remembering previous discussions about Windows Tablets making cameos on various shows: On episode 6 of this season's Burn Notice that aired on July 18, Jesse is sporting an 7-8" Win8 Tablet that doesn't appear to be the Acer W3 Iconia (the only publicly available <10" Win8 tablet currently out there).  As highlighted in the lower half of the attached picture, there is tape covering something along the left edge, perhaps a company logo.  I thought I'd throw this in into the general discussion but I am curious if anyone has seen this tablet...  Other than the color scheme, it looks similar to the tablet in this article and appears (to me, anyway) to be closer to 7", unless Coby Bell (the actor that plays Jesse) has pretty big hands.

I am looking forward to/patiently waiting for the upcoming Bay Trail 7-8" Win8 tablets to drop later this year and seeing this episode got me fired up about it ;)

Betafish background for desktop, "Store" icon is blue.... those might be really old versions of Windows 8 pre-RTM as well...

Yeah it would have a Windows "Start" button somewhere on the front of it..

7", looks like about .5" of Bezel all around. :(

You mean Xoom? Motorola doesn't make a "Droid" tablet.

Sorry, was a bit lazy saying that.. I meant it's an Android tablet, and it's obviously a fake.

To tell you why: Buttons are out of order, and the buttons are from a Dell tablet.

Further to this, please take a look at this guy:

LOL, just realised the IE logo got butchered and that skydrive's logo is upside down.

Sorry OP.
