Sell Lumia 920 and get used 925? Yes or No

Thanks for your message - I get what youre saying, though the lighter (25% reduction) chassis, better AMOLED screen, better battery life & GDR2 out the box are quite appealing.

Then why not sell and go for the 1020?

This is not a good time to upgrade. I would suggest that you stick with Lumia 920 for now and wait for the next WP8 devices which will feature 1080p screens and quad core processors. They should definitely be launched by end of this year and with Nokia, you can expect a good camera.

Well it IS your call in the end, but selling a phone to buy almost the exact same one is crazy if you as me :s  :/

Yeah prob is a nutty move, but I want a lighter phone really that I am happy to stick with till the end of my contract Q4 next year. I use my phone loads and the 920 weight is rather noticeable as I use it so much more than I did.

Thanks for your message - I wouldn't buy expensive 1080p quad core right away due to cost (still in ?40/month contract) so L925 is a little step up that I feel I could use/enjoy until later in 2014 when the next WP tech jump has been tried, tested & improved upon.  Plus next year I'll prob go sim only & buy new device outright after this contract & L925 will be worth more to sell @ that point.

Apart from hairline scratches on the screen that were not in the item description on eBay, I'm really pleased with the 925 - it feels so much nicer to hold than my Lumia 920.  Loving GDR2 & the few extras it has over GDR1. definitely a worthy upgrade.  Low level light shots are I think a significant improvement on 925 camera.  All I gotta do now is sell my 920.

Not trying to hijack your thread or anything but I have to agree the 925 is a nice phone. Moved away from Sprint recently to T-Mobile and grabbed the 925, BEST. DECISION. EVER. My only complaint is the lack of microSD support. That and the apparent lack of cases for it everywhere. Either way, good decision. Hope you enjoy it as much as I am enjoying it, my favorite feature is the FM Radio which I couldn't do on my last phone (GS3). :/

Also you should also contact your seller to get a partial ($20-$30 maybe) refund on the selling cost as it wasn't 100% to the description. Doesn't hurt to try. Worst he can say is no. ;)

I wish the 925 was to when 8X came out because I would have gotten that but the 920 is about the same thing. Should have waited for the windows phone 8.1 or 9 phones to come out. That's what I'm going to do with my X8.
