Nightwind Hawk
Hi guys, I have an ASUS UX32VD, which has the usual integrated Intel HD 4000 graphics as well as an nVidia GT 620M. I reformatted upon getting it so I have a clean install of Win 8 x64, and I try to keep the manufacturer's bloat software out as much as possible, but how do I know which video card is being used? It seems that the 620M will be used when it needs to and at other times the Intel graphics will be primary to save battery life, but is this automatic? How can I check to see what is being used and can I customize which device I can use? There are settings specifically for this in nVidia's control panel, but I believe these only apply to 3D situations. Thank you! P.S. - this is an amazing ultrabook for the price, I recommend checking it out!
