Please Recommend Cooperative Games

Over the past few years, my best pal and I have played the following: GTA IV, Saints Row: The Third, L4D2, Splinter Cell: Conviction, Minecraft, Diablo III, Torchlight II, Path of Exile, and probably a few others that I have missed. I do not really dig RTS games, so I would probably leave those out unless they are really good and not too complicated to get started on. Of course with that list, you can imagine we anxiously await Splinter Cell: Blacklist, GTA V and a little less excited about Saints Row IV.

Anything we missed that we can do? Other than Terraria, because the bastard refuses to play it for some reason, hehe. Hopefully something fairly recent, though we are out of ideas at this point and anything good will go. Thanks in advance!

Orcs Must Die! 2 is pretty fun I think, if you like that type of game. It's like a third person tower defense/shooter.

Also Portal 2 of course if by some chance you haven't played it yet.

Thanks for the suggestion! I had totally forgotten that I purchased Orcs Must Die! 2. It was actually awesome from what I had played. I will see if he is down for it.

Portal 2 is great, but for some reason I just cannot wrap my head around some of the puzzles. We kind of have "Game ADD". We have completed most of those games, but the others we just kind of bounced between.

Scrolls for sure. I have a friend similiar to you and we play Chivalry, D3, TL2, SC2, Minecraft, GW2 and a few more. We bought Scrolls on a whim one day and honestly play it as much or more than the rest of those games. It takes a while to learn, but it's a cool game to smack talk each other on Skype over.

Also get Chivalry if you like that kind of thing.

Borderlands 2 is very good in cooperative, you get harder enemies and better loot with the more people you play.  I find that game boring by myself :(  I only play it with my best friend and we have 139 hours on it.  I wish more games would do the same thing.

I do not know if that is your type of game or not, so all I can do is suggest it from my own experience.

If you don't mind a frustrating grind, then Borderlands 1 and 2 is a go.

Other than that I'd have to say ArmA 3, or 2, if you get to understand the editor the possibilities are endless! Beyond that there are already many, many co-op missions out along with addons to cater to your desires. Great fun if you like a tactical military sandbox.

Payday 1 and 2 are also enjoyable! I'll see if I still have 2 beta keys left for Payday 2.

I forgot about Rainbow Six 3: Raven Shield! Download the 2.0 mod which adds aim down sight and some other features and fixes. Great fun with an old game, buy the gold edition on steam for 5 Euro.

Also forgot about SWAT 3 and 4! Still some of the fondest co-op memories I have! Realism mods available for both, extra maps and weapons.
