I've tried Transmission, but I miss the nice detailed graph that uTorrent has, so I can see how/when my torrents were seeding throughout the day. I've also tried rTorrent, but it was just too damn confusing to set it up right. Are there any torrent clients with a bandwidth graph? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I've never heard of Tixati. I haven't tried out Wine yet, but I'm going to be doing this all on a tiny little netbook, and I'd like said netbook to be using as little CPU as possible, and I imagine Wine would add quite a bit of overhead to the CPU. Although uTorrent did just release a Linux-native version, it is command-line with web-interface only, and it's in alpha stage. I'm going to use the netbook as the torrent client for the whole house. There's 3 of us here, who all download torrents, and we all leave our computers running to seed said torrents. I'm trying to set up a master torrent client/server, and I'm going to use the netbook to do it, then people can download their torrents to the netbook using the web interface, and then using BTSync, the downloaded files are automatically transmitted to the person's PC harddrive while the torrent is still downloading on the netbook. This way we don't have to rely on the netbook to also act as a network media server, which can be pretty glitchy, especially since the netbook is Linux and the clients would be running Windows. IIRC it didn't have graphs, but it has some other somewhat interesting features like channels, torrent ratings, playing videos while downloading and being completely decentralized. I have seen a couple go a bit faster or slower but nothing dramatic. Biggest differences tend to show up in gaming where Windows sometimes pulls ahead, or sometimes issues with the Linux GPU drivers.
