Used Luxury Car

Eww, Corvettes DON'T look good. They look like Chevrolet doesn't even try anymore. They all look the same and are so incredibly boring now. I mean, the car itself isn't bad, but looks wise I could never see another Corvette on the road and be perfectly happy. And look at how awful the new frankenstingray they are coming out with.

I had a 335 and it was a fantastic car. I don't know how the hell tsupersonic got 35+ MPG though, I got about 20, haha. But that was in 08, I assume the engine has improved by then. Audis are very nice as well. I'm not as much a Mercedes fan though, I think they aren't very attractive either .Some of them are, but in general I'm not a fan of the styling.

I do like the Infinitis for saving a little more money. My friend had a G35 and it was quite a slick car, especially for the price.

Looks are very subjective :) I like the new generation of Corvettes, they do look nice. I mean yes, I prefer the looks of the classic Stingray, but the new one is easy on the eyes too. It definitely is a car you have to see in person, pictures don't do it any justice. The C4 Corvette in my book is the ugliest Corvette of 'em all.

Yeah, the 335 on the highway is impressive. I did another 100 mile drive the other day on the highway - 36 MPG, no cruise control, speeds at 70-77mph. That mileage figure is reported by the trip computer, so take it for what it means. I need to do a highway run on a full tank, that should be interesting. It really doesn't need much throttle on the highway, I don't know - guess I'm very gentle on the go fast pedal. People have reported 35-42mpg on the new 328i (4 cylinder turbo). The diesel should be even better.

Audi's do look nice, but I hate the direction they're taking. FWD w/ CVT in the base A4? Screw that. I could buy a Camry/Accord/Fusion if I wanted that. Infiniti G doesn't impress me, looks are meh, interior is meh, performance and mileage is meh. I'd rather have a Nissan 370z.

I reccomend a Lincoln Town Car, hand down the best ride I have owned in 20 years of driving.   I get about 350-400 miles on a tank of gas, highway and city mixed driving.  Oh and the best part in my book is it is rear wheel drive, I can't stand FWD.

I have a A5 coupe. Im 6,1 and don't have the chair all the way to the back.  That said there is still no leg room for a rear passenger. If you have rear passengers I recommend avoiding the A5.  Beast of a car though that turns heads where ever I go.

  • 3 weeks later...

Well my truck was side swiped by a girl who claimed she didn't see my red truck. I don't know if it's totaled or not, but I went test driving a few cars. It rest drove a 2011 VW CC, the car fax is clean and it had 35k miles. It's an RLine, black with tinted windows and black / white interior. I loved it, they'd and 20k, but I offered 18k and they accepted. Just waiting to hear from the insurance on if they'll total the truck or not. Worst part is I only had one monthly payment left! I believe the state of FL totals vehicle if it's 75% repair cost of how much it's worth.

Having driven both A4 and passat from the same year,  I was really surpriced by how much i enjoyed passat.

however, depending on what price/year you want,  A6 is my  top favourite.

Although it's not a GREAT car, the 300C might be worth considering, as for your height it'll make you look tiny in it, once you set up the seat, also excellent legroom in the back

I like the 300C, but isn't Chrysler going bankrupt or did?

Ah holy crap, hope you are ok. Congrats on the CC

I'm fine, I got out and rushed over to the girl. She apologized and was just scared. I haven't bought the CC yet, still waiting to hear from the collision company. It's been there since Wednesday and no update. I'm kind of ###### about that.

I didn't like the Passat. I want to test drive an A4. A6 is out of my price range.

I only had one monthly payment left, so I'm pretty upset that I might have to continue having a vehicle payment.

I don't know, if they are in financial trouble, I haven't heard it, but that could possibly be because I'm not up to date anymore with cars, (wife and kids saw to that lol)

About the Passat, believe it or not it's not all that bad, and to some it's an A4 with VW badges.

See if you can find a decent used VW Phaeton, (their version of the A6 or possibly A8) it's an awesome car, many in the UK many Porsche drivers get confused as to why when they're going so fast, a car that looks like a Passat is keeping up, and trying to overtake, :)

I'll check them out again. Maybe it was a Jetta I sat in, it was small.

Still haven't heard from the collision repair company, I called and was told the person that's in charge of my vehicle will call me shortly, never received one.
