See information between two networked computers

I have a server i'm trying to log in to from Win7. The server won't let me in. Is there anyway to see what is happening behind the scenes between the tcp/ip connections?

well sure you can run wireshark and see what exactly is being denied...however it probably is a settiing you are missing...like a windows firewall setting.
