+Tyranade Subscriber² Posted August 16, 2013 Subscriber² Share Posted August 16, 2013 So I am finally getting the parts together for a new pc and while reading the manual for my Gigabyte z87n-wifi I saw an option called "fast boot" now I already plan on installing windows 8 pro using a usb stick in UEFI mode but after googling fast boot I kind of confused myself and have no idea what I need to get it working, the last pc I built was 10 years ago so I am a bit lost here. Thanks
primexx
I think fastboot there just refers to skipping some boottime checks. most BIOSes have an option for it.
+Tyranade Subscriber² Posted August 16, 2013 Author Subscriber² Share Posted August 16, 2013 I also read something about a GOP enable graphics card is needed too. In reality though is the speed increase worth it?
