Need Advice On Shopping System

Question

Hello for some time I have been struggling with a cart system by ecommerce templates. Years ago this was the system my company hooked up with.

The time is coming though for a change as it is a pain to work with sometimes and coupon system sucks, etc. I have a lot of pressure on me lately to get this fixed and it the stress is really getting to me. I have to be calm because it will do me no good to get sick over this,

I cannot sit here and tell you i am a total webmaster but I am what they got and the only one to run the whole show. Since I am by myself it can be frustrating at times you know?

I just want to fix this once and for all and move on to other things. Can anyone with experience in eCommerce systems advise me on what would be the best cart to download and setup? I would prefer free and I am looking at Open Cart.

I would like a system that would let me import our products from the existing system so I can have them all in one shot. I would also like a system that has built in Image Zoom, very good and granular coupon system beyond the joke of a system we have now, easy to install my theme like what we have now. Easy options for each product and easy to configure.

It is late and I need to get to bed so I may be missing several features here but you get the point. There has to be something powerful yet easy that I can put on our server and have a site done in about 5-6 days. We do have less than 150 products total for now.

This is our site: www.kleinerts.com . It is not bad looking but I have had to create many static pages which are not worth it and the cart pages are the ones to use but they are so basic and ugly sometimes that is why a new cart system would be key for us.

Thanks for any answers.

OpenCart is a really solid system, you should be able to go far with it.

The best thing you can do is read the documentation and not get ahead of yourself.

Also remember that just because the plugin sounds neat, it doesn't mean you need it. ;)
