Parents Spend $109K on Twins' 1st Birthday

Do you remember your first birthday party? No? Well that?s too bad, because your parents might?ve spent $109,000 on it!

Well, ok, they probably didn't. But the parents of twins in England just did! UK's premier party planner, Steven Duggan, was commissioned to create a lavish party atmosphere in the theme of Peter Pan meets Alice in Wonderland -- all in honor of twins turning one year of age.

The beautiful party included floral arrangements, tons of props and lighting effects, delicious treats, and an amazing cake.

Will the two birthday kids ever remember this? Definitely not. Will all of the adult partygoers remember this? Definitely.

I don't understand why people hate over other people's kids.. "Why does that three y.o have an iPad".. I hear it all the time.. If you had the money, you would give your get an iPad too!

No not everyone would. Just because someone has money doesn't mean they blow it on what ever stupid thing they can think of. I also don't think it has to do with hating the kids as much as parents wasting money on something that can't be appreciated for the ones it's supposedly for. The party was most likely for the parents then it was for the kids.

this is clearly not a person with $1 Mil.     it they are , then they are lottery winners and are not very smart. 

 

this are people who have 10s of millions (or more) and for them to have a crazy party like that for 1 birthdays of TWINS, is actually pretty cool.  

maybe this twins had very hard birth and the fact that they are alive, is a reason for parents to celebrate in style.

 

i think it is much more cool then lavish rapper type pool parties that some people throw same amount of money on!!

That looks like a ###### first birthday to be honest. I guarantee you I'd rather a Pizza Bash at Chucky Cheese, this looks like a formal adult party with a childish theme. Are the kids even allowed to have.... fun?

When you grow up very wealthy, you don't have a concept of wasting money like poor people do. They will more likely complain that they didn't get a Lambo until they were 6.

Are you kidding? I can tell you right now my kid wont be getting anything like that that early and it wont be for a lack of money to buy such things.

This bday party however...ots for the parents anyways and if they want to spend a bunch of money they can.

It isn't wasting money at all. My three year old nephew loves his iPad I bought him. He can watch movies when he wants too and play learning games or just games for fun. It isn't wasting money.. 

 

Put the 100K for a 1 year old, is just ######ing stupid. No reason for that and it is for the parents are that point.. However.. if you had millions of dollars, go for it.. I would be more inclined to spend more money when they are older and can enjoy it.. I've done a lot of great things with my sister for her child..
