Good Quality Laser Pointer

I am looking for a good Quality Laser Pointer.  I am tired of the crappy Laser Pointers I pick up from the Dollar Store, they rarely last for more than 15 minutes of use.

 

I need the Laser Pointer to use AA or AAA batteries.  Colour does not matter, but I need it to be safe to use around my cat.

 

Any suggestions ?

safe around living beings(for the time being I'll temporarily put cats in that category :p)... I guess that leaves wicked lasers out of the picture then :) well that and the price...
