Oh god no. Hipsters, like every generation of 'cool' before them, have a finite life ahead of them. Any company that jumps on a bandwagon to sell a few extra products will soon find themselves flailing.

It's fine if hipsters embrace MS but MS should never embrace them.

Microsoft was cool in being kind of uncool. Personally the hipster stuff is a turn off for me, and probably a lot of others as well. I personally prefer the old school Microsoft.

I could not agree more, Chicken. Microsoft doesn't need to act like Apple to be perceived as "cool" or special.

Blurry blue color schemes and blue screens of death?

I'm pretty sure he wasn't referring to any of their operating systems.

Personally, I think instead of trying to be cool and fresh, something they aren't, they should instead be what the are, traditional and geeky.

I miss the days of the evil Micro$oft empire which every move was part of a master plan to take over the universe. Now it's all "Poor Microsoft look how hard they're trying".
