jnelsoninjax
Since my wife discovered my cell phone I am rapidly running out of internal storage space, however I can not find any option to move some of the apps to the SD card. I have Wondersoft's MobileGo installed and when I attempt to move to SD every one I attempt fails to move. There is no option that I can find in the phone itself. The phone in question is the Samsung Galaxy Exhibit SGH-T599n. Does anyone know of a way to resolve this issue? Thanks!
Dick Montage
My Samsung Note 2 doesn't allow this, wonder if your phone is similar.
Nick H. Supervisor Posted August 23, 2013 Supervisor Share Posted August 23, 2013 I believe you need to root the phone, then use an application like Android Assistant. I may be wrong about requiring root access, though.

Marshall Veteran Posted August 23, 2013 Veteran Share Posted August 23, 2013 Intrinsica is correct, you must root the phone and install Link2SD.
Pmiddy
Actually for this to work you will need to "root" your phone. This feature is no longer an option in the Android OS since I believe the 4.x versions. Google took this option off the table as they felt it was "too confusing" for the end user, I know when I read this, I too said "WHAT!!!???". To do this on any 4.x flavor of Android you will need to root your device then get a 3rd party app like the ones mentioned. You may still still run into issues as Google no longer includes the code for the app developer so he/she may move their app to an external card and it will still work properly, so unless the app had the code previously, chances are the "newer" apps may not even have the proper code for this to work. Hope this helps!
techbeck
Android 4.1 Maybe try this... http://karthikkn.wordpress.com/2013/06/29/install-apps-to-sd-card-on-your-android-phone-without-rooting-it/ If I remember correctly, there is no root for your phone yet. Rooting would be easier, but looks like you are kinda screwed ATM for rooting.

I did verify that it is set to external storage also. It is also geting to the point that nothing will download regardless of the fact that I have ~200MB free space, every download states insufficient space.
