Showan Posted August 24, 2013 Share Posted August 24, 2013 Sony finally shaves a few bucks off the Vita. Shows remote play at work during Gamescom (hopefully that wasn't a staged demo). And the PS4 looking a tad bit better than what I saw, months ago. Bringing the 2 (PS4 & Vita) home together would be a $600 investment as it currently stands. That's not half bad, but I'm looking for the $500-$550 range tops. Yea, I know that Sony can't just give the darn things away. Considering what it cost to make the Vita. Vita having it's own catalog of games, and being able to play PS4 games, has really got my attention as of now. My launch day PS4 I have on reserve (pre-ordered it the very moment it became available during E3) will be sold on eBay, and that $$$ will be used to bring home a PS4 & Vita together in the late summer or early fall of 2014. Well this is going to be a problem for me. I told myself (and my wife) that I will become a single console guy this generation. I guess this is a good problem to have, when the world is in tough times. Have a back log to get through, and next gen is right before my eyes... Thank GOD for the OT my boss has been allowing us to have lately. Because my mindset just went from, $500 to $1100 for gaming (and that's not including the games). Well at least if the eBay thing works out, somebody else will be footing the bill for some of it :-) You are almost there with me Sony. Just keep at it.
