papercut2008uk
i'm trying to get ahold of a news paper article from the now shut down 'News of the World', i'm not sure on the year but it's going to be a huge task to find as it's somewhere from 60's or 70's. my grandmother was left in Pakistan with my mum and uncles (who were only children at the time) and it was only until family members contacted the papers, 'The News of the World' sent reporters to Pakistan, took pictures of my uncles and grandmother, published them in the paper and paid for her ticket and the children s tickets home. i know what you thinking, something actually good came out of that tabloid, thats a first. lol., but it actually happened and i want to get ahold of a copy or some way of reading or getting a copy! anyone got any suggestions? jakem1
Have you tried contacting News International (NOTW's parent company) to see if they have an archive that you can search/request copies from? papercut2008uk 1 Share
metallithrax
Try contacting the British Library. They have copies of most UK newspapers either paper or on microfilm. You should be able to order a copy of the page/paper if you know the date it was published. If you are nearby, you could also visit to find the paper.
