Call connected vibration

Recommended Posts

I recently switched from an HTC WP7 to a Lumia 520. I noticed that when I hold the phone away from my ear and make a call, the phone does not vibrate when the call is connected. On my old phone it used to vibrate so I can hold the phone casually until it's actually connected. What I don't remember is whether this was a WP7 feature, or whether this was an HTC addon to WP7. I haven't found anything in settings that would relate to such behaviour on the Lumia 520. Question is: is call-connected vibration expected behaviour on WP8 (i.e. is my Lumia 520 not doing something it should) or do you guys not have it either?

Yup, it is HTC's feature.  If you want that back, then get a new HTC with Windows Phone 8. If they do not have it, then stay with that phone you had.

It can not be same on all devices... it is based on either phone provider (sprint, att, etc) or phone manufacturer (samsung, HTC, etc.)

I understand.

Maybe you can find an app or tweak/mod if available to enable a vibration for call. Who knows.

And it may be worth a shot if you email to the provider or manufacturer to have them to add that feature for the next device or updated firmware.
