Saint Row IV

Anybody playing it?

Takes a couple of hours to get into, but then it becomes everything i ever wanted out of video game

it is extremely fun.   missions are cool and the way a lot of them pay a tribute to other games is plain cool.

this game takes the best of Prototype (superpowers) + GTA (everything else) and makes it very fun

it is not a hard game by any means and it is very silly,   but it is plain and simple - FUN

Did anybody else have trouble playing it the first time?  Steam did not do the usual "Installing" when I first launched the game, and it would kick me out of the game (showing my windows desktop, game was still active in the background I guess) every time it entered focus.  I was finally able to get past this after quitting and starting the game a dozen times.

I do need to grab it, but it might wait til October.  I'm not sure.  Too many shooty games and I haven't felt like playing the ones I've got.

ok,  this one got lasers, aliens, tentacle bat to slap people with, it is a clear tribute to the matrix, you have super power, flying machines that switch between jet and helicopter modes, and the cheesy music in the most tense moments, while average running around can be done to the most epic music ever!

i can go on and on.         this is what some of us look for in a game.     i clocked 7 hours, and i show no signs of being bored of it.    in fact it is the opposite.

I picked it up a few days ago.  The beginning wasn't that great, but once you play for a while it gets really interesting.  I really like the glitchy/nod to the Matrix it has.  I'd have to say it's one of the best Saints Row games yet.

I finished it today and i was pleasantly surprised. Lots of fan service and i loved the

2D side scroller, saints of rage

I don't think it deserved the full blown sequel in the title, it was more of a Saints 3.5. Still worth the full price though.

I also really like how they handled the activities this time round. Most of the side quests have you doing them.

I'm just going back through it, picking up all the clusters and catching any gold i missed. I'd say difficulty wise. It is as hard as Saints 3.

I have not had so much fun with missions and just doing achievements,   since Vice City.   It says a lot, as vice city was amazing!

I have not played the other saints (tried 3 for 30 min, decided not to get it)
