Anthony Tosie Veteran Posted August 26, 2013 Veteran Share Posted August 26, 2013 My new employer has a business account that was never used, though the problem is the account was registered by an employee who no longer works here. I know there's a way to get accounts suspended, but if I do that there's no way to regain access to the account or its handle (and it already has a ton of followers, which would be beneficial, and the organization name). Does anyone know if there's an easy way to go about regaining access to the account? I know Twitter says if you don't have access to the account email you're basically screwed, but there has to be some easy way to go about getting it back. Hum
Call the NSA -- or offer the former employee a bonus. ;)
+BudMan MVC Posted August 26, 2013 MVC Share Posted August 26, 2013 So the employee registered it to an email account that the company does not control? That seems odd, lets call it companyX.com So the email address on the account is not user@companyX.com? If it is, then you should have access to that email address. giantsnyy
Was the twitter account created by an email address from that organization? If so? just re-create that e-mail address, request a new password. If not? contact twitter support?
