giantpotato
I was thinking about getting one, but the bad reviews of the screen turned me off. I'll wait for a second generation with a better screen, or wait to see if any competitors come up with other 8" windows 8 devices.

Ian W
When I saw the topic title, I assumed the tablet you purchased was the Surface Pro. :ninja:

zhangm Supervisor Posted August 29, 2013 Supervisor Share Posted August 29, 2013 I guess you've got a point; at that price, I can't quite place an alternative in the given form factor, with that kind of portability and battery life, and the ability to natively run Office. Still, Acer has always struggled to get the hardware right.
Manarift
agreed the device is pretty good and solid just that the big peeve i have is they gave recovery dvds instead of a usb stick :\

Tulpe1984
I also bought a windows 8 tablet ,but not Acer, another chinese brand,BBEN.Did you know of this before? I was attracted by 16% discount for Q97: 9.7" Dual-core 64GB windows 8 tablet!! And it cost me 341.85?. Till now i find no issue about its functions ,it's a highly-evaluated tablet.
