Avengers: Age of Ultron

Marvel Studios brought Joss Whedon out on stage for one final reveal at their San Diego Comic-Con panel and he showed a brief teaser which not only included a first look at Ultron, but also the title of the sequel; The Avengers: Age of Ultron.

It begins outside an alien temple. A man approaches. The Avengers footage is super quick, featuring lines from the first Avengers. Slowly, CGI images form of Ultron's face. Then the title comes up.

hmm interesting.. 2015 sounds like a decent target but they better bring back all the originals.

But........ what about Thanos?

That's the question, he could be the long game. Always there in the shadows!

Joss Whedon wants To Bring Tigra To The Big Screen

Whedon was once again quizzed on the involvement of Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver in the sequel, but most interesting were his comments about which female superheroes he want to bring to life on the big screen. Unfortunately, most of them are in the X-Men so Fox has the rights to all of them! I kind of have a thing for Tigra; I'm not gonna lie. I remember being an adolescent boy going, 'She's furry, but that should be gross and it's kind of not. That's hot!"

This news came as a surprise to me yesterday since they just ended the Age of Ultron crossover event. Than today I read that it's not going to be an adaptation of the crossover event but an original story. Kinda confusing when they're going to use the same title for the film :p Either way I'm eager to see that footage and get more news about this.

Well seems like Thanos is gonna be behind the scenes in all the Marvel movies coming out in the next few years. I guess that makes sense since Thanos, from what I know about him, is beyond god tier. Right?

Pretty much, from my own research into the matter he is an "eternal" which is essentially a god from what I can make of it. He is immortal, highly intelligent and did I mention immortal? he is way beyond anything we have seen before, going straight to battling him would be a mistake because after that the only way to go really, is down....this is purely my opinion so feel free to correct me if I'm totally wrong.

The death of Phil Coulson rocked the Marvel Cinematic Universe in last summer's The Avengers, but luckily for fans, he's getting ressurected (in one way or another) for the upcoming TV series" Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." This has lead some fans to speculate that Coulson might pop back up in the films one day, but it doesn't appear that will happen.

In an interview with the The Associated Press, writer/director Joss Whedon says  that Coulson is not present in his current draft of the sequel, Avengers: Age of Ultron, when asked if he could return for the film.

"He could. Right now it's not something I'm pursuing because I have so much going on in 'Avengers 2.' Finding out that Coulson is alive would be an entire B story. And I already have too much movie. That's better than the other thing."

Whedon elaborated on why this is the case when speaking about Samuel L. Jackson appearin in the upcoming TV series.

"But we also have the movies and we have TV and we need to make sure there's some crossover, but not so much that people go, 'Well, I don't need to see that movie. I saw it on TV.' If we do that (Marvel Studios President) Kevin Feige is going to come after me with a pitchfork."

So if you want to get your Coulson fix, you're going to have to tune into "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." which will premiere on ABC on Tuesday, September 24 at 8 p.m.

Featuring other favorites from the first "Avengers" film and new Marvel characters never before seen on the big screen, Avengers: Age of Ultron will open in theaters on May 1, 2015.

I'd rather move on to the important stuff anyway.

Thanos is an eternal yes, but he's also a titan. The mad titan actually. He's also obsessed and in love with Death (literally, the physical embodiement of death herself) and has many times been beaten because of this little flaw of his. Then there is the whole infinity gems stuff, but let's not go there :D

There is SO much they could use with Thanos though, I have no idea if they will actually use a comic storyline or make up a new one. Just think if they did the Avengers Assemble story (which includes the Gaurdians of the Galaxy) or the Annihilation War story!

hope is not as boring as Iron Man 3

Wouldn't say it was boring, a popcorn flick.

That said, Avengers was decent for what they tried to grasp.

Off topic, Lumia 520, does windows phone feel snappy enough?

Avenger was really good, a great popcorn flick. Iron Man 3 was corny, tacky and badly done.

About my Lumia 520, best cheap phone I've ever had, feel really snappy.

I agree, Iron Man 3 was the worst out of all the Iron Mans. It was a slap to the face to the fans of the comic.

Well I've only read that it differs way too much from the comic for die hard fans. But all in all, It was a movie I didn't feel like walking out of the movie theater ( unlike say... twilight... :/ )

I didn't say Iron Man 3 was a bad movie. They ######ed up the Mandarin. That's all that ###### me off about it.

Casting Call reveal the Plot?

In "The Avengers: Age of Ultron" Loki is gone and the new villain will be the evil robot Ultron, who has the ability to keep upgrading his own strength, making him extremely fearsome. Tony Stark/Iron Man becomes the unwitting creator of Ultron. The brother-and-sister team of Quicksilver and the Scarlet Witch become the seventh and eighth members of The Avengers. Quicksilver has extreme speed, while Scarlet Witch can cast spells and has telekinesis ability. Black Widow and Hawkeye will be key figures in the film.
