Not in a big rush here, I can wait for the official release, and as mentioned above, get it the "proper" way, just in case. Also like to wait a little bit anyway in case of any last minute problems or other surprises that might crop up, it happens.

Waiting for official release; installing it earlier is not worth possibly compromising this machine. I would like to run it alongside Windows 7, or, if I had my way, Windows Vista.

Couldn't have said it better. It'd be really cool if I could just use my free WMC key to use 8.1. Without hacks/workarounds, after all, it was a free upgrade key. But hey, that's just my opinion. I'm extremely interested to see how well it would run on my hardware, because I have both 32 bit and 64 bit systems, and I have used 8 successfully on my 64 bit system. It's sort of a toss up for me right now.

For me the biggest thing is that I honestly don't have a problem with my computer right now it works the way i want it to. and I honestly cannot think of a single thing that is being added in the release that I care for.

Considering the source of the leaks, It's pretty safe to say that these ISO's weren't tampered with if you get them from the source however. I'm already using it as my production OS on my system and it runs smooth and no hiccups, activated and everything. Seems pretty squeaky clean compared to the 8.1 Preview build.

Nope, maybe, maybe - slight chance though - I might run it for test-purposes in a VM-environment.

The official release will be installed on day 1.

Why Vista over 7?

I'll probably wait for 8.1 if I get it at all, I'm in no hurry to leave Windows 7.

Already did, using it right now.

Zero problems so far. I had an issue installing .NET framework 3.5 through Windows Update, but followed the instructions on the help page and solved the issue by using the ISO source.

Installed on another HDD and activated using my WMC key, I'm not planning to use it as my main OS anytime soon.

And why is that?

I am going to try it in a VM and if it runs smoothly for a while, I may perform the upgrade on my main Windows 8 install. I am still debating it.

I already have. Upgrade from 8.0 went smoothly. Everything working perfectly.

I think I will wait for my desktop which is running ProWMC which I don't think I can use the current leak to upgrade.

I wouldn't, for the simple reasoning that in the off-chance MS decided to blacklist the live accounts using it early, I would be screwed.  I also use that account for work.

Why would they do that? I activated using a legit serial. They have no reason to blacklist anything.
