Thanks for the recommendations.  Looking in to it.  Dont really want to go the EBAY route if I dont have to.  XDA forums has a good review/posting for cases.  Just have to look and finally decide on what I want.  Something like this for the Galaxy S III would be nice for the Nexus 7.

Here is the Moko case. Poetic makes one as well that looks almost exactly as this.

Nice.  Didnt notice it before, but yea what I was looking for.  Thanks

Hello,

I have a Poetic Slimline case that I bought on eBay.  I've used the same design on my 2012 Nexus 7 and some Nook e-readers and they have all been working great so far (the fit of the cover on the Nook HD+ isn't as good as on the Nexii, but that may be due to the larger size).

Regards,

I got the Poetic slimline case at first, and auto wake didn't work. The case ended up being defective. I ended up buying the Moko, but that case was so much worse than the Poetic in terms of design - heft, stand wasn't as good, but the auto wake at least worked. However, Poetic sent new cases to customers that fixed the auto wake, so that's what I'm using. I have returned the Moko.

I read the reviews for the Poetic and there were no holes for the buttons.  Something about having to remove the case in order to adjust certain things.  Shall see how i like it when it comes.  if I dont like it, I will return it.

?? You mean cutouts for the volume/power buttons? Of course they're there - who'd buy the case if they weren't there?! The product page on Amazon has high res pictures. You don't need to remove the case at all (well unless you want to remove the case :)). The only thing I hate about the Poetic case is the poetic logo right on the front of the case. It looks tacky.

Don't get me wrong, the Moko is a nice case. BUT, when you have used the Poetic first, the Moko just feels inferior. At the end of the day, these things are cheap, so you'll be happy either way.

I dont remember exactly what the review said.  And it was late...and I was tired.

I dont use my tablet much propped up, but the reviews on the Moko were in same range as the Poetic.  and I kind of liked the look of the Moko.  Both seem to be and look to be very much alike.  And like I said, I will return if I dont like it.  No big deal.

Got the Moko today.  Great so far.  Stays propped up when using, fits the N2 2nd to a T, and slim. Still comfortable to hold as if I didnt have a cover and doesnt add much bulk.  $10 on Amazon.
