quick Win7/8 question

Hello Neowin, it's been a while. Have a quick question, i have a win7 x64 laptop, but i will be moving over to a win 8 pro x64 desktop. i'd like to be able to use easy transfer. Will win8 let me transfer over my win7 stuff via "windows easy transfer' ?

Windows easy transfer is included with Windows 8 as well so should be a snap.
