Can you feel it? itshappening.gif The leaker also mentioned that his boss said they are shipping out over one million consoles from their factory alone, presumably for launch. gate1975mlm Posted September 7, 2013 Share Posted September 7, 2013 This is so exciting :) I just can't wait to get my 2 spanking new powerful PS4's and digital copies of Madden 25, NBA Live 14 and first time PS Plus subscription on November.15,2013! :) I sold both of my PS3's for some extra money in early August so this kind of makes the wait for PS4 a lot harder in my case. Ever since GDC we've been told PS4's do not exist and it's all PC's powering everything. The two are not mutually exclusive. Just because the PS4 is in production doesn't mean that tech demos are running on the final hardware - they could still be running on PCs while the game code is being optimised. Unlike the Wii U, which was clearly current generation and sold poorly, the PS4 is the cheapest next-generation console and looks to be slightly more powerful than the X1 (though that remains to be seen). Given that and that supply will be short that pretty much guarantees it will sell out quickly, though I doubt we'll see a situation like that with the original Wii where it remains in short supply for more than a year.
