Tips for Reducing Stress

The best way is to write down what is stressing you, identify the reason it stresses you, then change your beliefs, to the extent that you can.

 

Or get yourself away from the cause of the stress.

I usually end up smoking which is the worst thing since i'm abusing it. I would suggest to reason with yourself what's worrying you as when you start thinking backwards, you will realize that it was nothing.

 

I also workout at the gym 5 times a week and do buddhist chanting.

Do any of you believe in Hypnotic music/CD's etc. Have you had any experience with them?

I am currently listen to this CD, and do recommend the audio meditations. ;)

1. Exercise.

2. Sleep 7.5 - 8.5 hours a night.

3. Drink 5+ glasses of water a day.

3. Don't concern yourself with small details.

4. Don't stay home on weekends, enjoy the park, take in the sights and sounds.

5. Be in a relationship you like.

6. Be proud of what you do for a living.

 

That's how I stay happy.

Exercise!

If I've had a crappy day and I'm feeling stressed out, I'll usually run a few miles. I feel tired and stress free by the end of the run. It also works if you're about to get into a petty fight with your SO. I go running and play out all the various scenarios in my head while I'm running, and I'm okay by the time I get home!
