keysteele
These are my settings in my BIOS. But in my watermark, it still says that it's not configured correctly. this didn't show up when I installed the 8.1 preview, but when I installed one of the leaks it showed up, and continued when I installed the RTM. FaiKee
restore fty keys, you should have them in the DVD that comes with mobo, or check it in mobo site, install all. some guys said you could also set it as "custom mode", but I have not tried it. :)
Jeston Veteran Posted September 9, 2013 Veteran Share Posted September 9, 2013 I had this problem too. I tried all manner of UEFI settings, but never managed to get the watermark removed. In the end I just ResHacked the watermark away as this is just my secondary machine anyway.

If you mean my motherboard, I don't remember there being a dvd that came with it, this was originally a Win 7 laptop, and Lenovo pushed Bios update for Win 8 earlier this year, because some of the options I didn't remember seeing with the old firmware, and that pic I think is one of them. So I don't know anything about restore factory keys, I'll what I can find out on there site. I tried custom mode I think its in that mode now...hasn't changed anything. Ok but this is my primary machine so I'm a little cautions...but I would try, if I know it wont mess up my machine

If it's a windows pre-installed machine you might have difficulties, I know some of the BIOS doesn't have all the features that exists in a EFI mobo. Yes it was a pre-installed Win 7 machine... I don't think I have all that, I guess if enabled the restore factory keys something like that might show up, haven't tried it yet since I have no keys. If Lenovo pushed a update for win7 machine BIOS to win8 compatible BIOS, they have the obligation to help users to configure correctly. Good luck. :)
