ILikeTobacco
I'm still surprised to see people still defend this guy who has a history of Domestic violence and girl beating. More surprised people still believe he is racist given that his past says the exact opposite. psmoked and Lord Method Man 2 Share
MorganX
More surprised people still believe he is racist given that his past says the exact opposite. I actually don't think he's racist. Comments he allegedly made that would suggest that never materialized. I just think he's not playing with a full deck and it was just unlucky he crossed paths with anyone that night. Our past behavior IS the best indicator of future behavior, particularly after adulthood. It's clear his judgment isn't the best, that includes in picking women apparently. I think he can fade away into oblivion, but not on his current path.
hagjohn
The confrontation between George and Shellie was captured on video on the iPad that he smashed. They are going to examine it at a crime lab to see if they can get any evidence off it. http://news.msn.com/crime-justice/ipad-video-could-be-key-in-zimmerman-911-case

Yes, because investigating crimes is such a waste of money. All the crime lab is going to do is see whether the storage is accessible and whether any video was recorded - there isn't a huge cost to it, provided it doesn't impact other cases (i.e. if the lab is overworked). Would you rather see wife-beaters allowed to walk free for cost reasons?

Happens all of the time, and almost never gets media spotlight or forensics working on it. Maybe you didn't hear: No files are charged, therefore there is no crime committed as of yet. His wife lied about the gun. Police didn't find a gun. But hey, lets spend taxypayer money on tearing apart this iPad and finding the family porn truth. theyarecomingforyou
Any photos of the smashed iPad? I bet she wishes she had a Lumia with image stabilization instead. Just out of interest, how much do you get paid for each post promoting Lumia? The only crime here is that we are spending money on these wastes of oxygen. It is a nasty divorce. Happens all of the time, and almost never gets media spotlight or forensics working on it. Crimes should be investigated regardless of your personal opinion on the people involved. I haven't seen any evidence to suggest the treatment of this case is being handled any differently than normal - it's just rare that a device is recording the incident at the time. Maybe you didn't hear: No files are charged, therefore there is no crime committed as of yet. His wife lied about the gun. Police didn't find a gun. 1) Whether charges are filed has no bearing on whether a crime has been committed. The police usually have the discretion to pursue a prosecution even if the people involved choose not to press charges. 2) The wife changed her story but that doesn't mean she necessarily lied about it. She might have been put under pressure to change her story. 3) Not finding a gun does not mean there wasn't one. However, if she has lied to the police she should be charged with wasting police time. Her changing her story doesn't mean she lied? Now THAT is rich. Don't forget the perjury charge. She is no stranger to dishonesty. If investigators were really wanting to know the truth and not playing for the media and wasting taxpayer money, they would have reviewed surveillance footage. Sounds like multiple devices were recording the incident. http://www.cnn.com/2013/09/09/us/george-zimmerman-detained/index.html Zimmerman had offered to turn over surveillance tapes from security cameras at the house to investigators. theyarecomingforyou
Her changing her story doesn't mean she lied? Now THAT is rich. It doesn't mean she was lying about the original allegation. As for the perjury charge, we don't know what pressure she was under from her husband. However, obviously she has very little credibility. If Zimmerman has security footage of the entire event then that will clear up any confusion. Both of them sound like thoroughly nasty people though, so I really don't have much sympathy.
