Ant-Man release pushed up to summer 2015

Ant-Man's release date has been moved forward to summer 2015.

 

Edgar Wright's film will now arrive on July 31, 2015.

 

It was previously scheduled to arrive on November 6, 2015, three months later than the new date.

 

The film will launch Marvel Studios' 'Phase Three' following the release of the climactic The Avengers: Age of Ultron earlier in the year.

 

There have yet to be any casting announcements for Ant-Man, nor confirmation of which incarnation of the hero will star in the movie.

 

It has been said that he will not appear in the second Avengers film, which will pit the heroes against Ultron. The villainous robot is a creation of original Ant-Man Henry Pym in comic book continuity.

 

Ant-Man will now be arriving two weeks after Warner Bros' Superman/Batman film.

wow...moving from November to Summer...and launching Phase 3...shows that Marvel definitely believes in this movie...

 

its also just a few months after Avengers 2...
