Outlook 2013 Folder Pane blank

Question

Hello, after I updated my Windows/Office 2013 with the latest updates from Windows updates today the Folder Pane in Outlook 2013 is blank. If I click it it just minimizes. Any idea how to fix this?

I rolled back my system to before I ran Windows Update and I'm installing patches one at a time to see which one borked this up.  Will follow up once I find the culprit.

Yup.. KB2817630.  Unfortunately, just uninstalling the update doesn't fix the problem, so you'll have to roll back to correct the problem.

Correction:  Apparently, uninstalling KB2810009 and KB2817630 will correct the issue without a rollback.

Just uninstalling KB2817630 worked for me. Luckily... :woot:

I was not so lucky, but a rollback took all of 4 minutes to complete and all is right and good in the world again. :)
