I decide to restore the behavior of Windows 8, without button.

Nice job! I can think of a few people who should appreciate this.

I think it was the Start MENU that was complained about and wanted back. M$ went half way half baked it. Its just a half-a&&d start menu, which I would remove too if I didnt use a start menu replacement like pokki for example.

Fantastic! I think I will actually upgrade to 8.1 now. I was not going to update at first because of the start button.

Haters gonna hate, also choice is good even if most people won't want to get rid of the start button. :)

this is good.. it allows the removal of MS's start-screen-button and alows easy addition of a replacement start-menu button.

In Windows 8.2, the Start Button will stay visible until Kinect 3 with mind reading technology detects that you want to click it. At that point, the Start Button will disappear.

**** me, what's wrong with everyone?

* Some people wanted the start button back, not all

* Some people wanted the start menu back, not all

* Some people want the new start menu gone, not all

This guy has given people an app - for those who want it.

/ End of thread.  Really...

I think curing Cancer is more a, 'something you should do'. This is not something you should do, but more something you can do. Also, this is stupid, and curing Cancer isn't, neither is landing on the Moon (imo).

It was a joke.

Nice app, thanks. Don't see the point of a start button when there's a Windows key on the majority of keyboards, I understand why they put it back, but it should have been an option.

For those wondering what's the point of this, especially after so many calls to bring the Start button back, it's for when

you're using a 3rd party add-on like Classic Shell, that brings back the full traditional Start menu, the new Start button

is redundant, as it appears underneath the 3rd party Start button, and can be clicked on accidentally.

I will probably use this when 8.1 is officially released as I agree the button is useless, not sure why they put it back, it wasn't the start button people wanted back it was the old manu they wanted.
