My Yahoo Account Was Upgraded Today To New Look!

Recommended Posts

I dont know if anyone else got it but I did. Seems that former Googler Myer is waving her wand and Googlefying Yahoo.

It looks like Gmail and is pretty fast. I like it but I don't know where to change the theme. Here is a screen shot below

We really need to break the habit of calling every change an "upgrade" as an overall blanket term. Slower page loading due to a background image and a whole new slew of javascript is not an upgrade. It is a performance downgrade, and a visual upgrade.

That being said, got the same changes today. Looks great, just runs like crap on one of my work PC's.

im glad some people like it however, A: I keep forgetting yahoo still exists. and B: i personally think that looks horrible, especially with the giant photo ad to the right hand side.

Woa! That's one baffling copy of the whole GMail look and feel .. almost like when Samsung confused early users into thinking that they were buying Apple by using similar colors and iconography!

I assume you are being funny  ;)   but its funny to think it has been around longer than Outlook or GMAIL.

Yes it has, but it's also hacked like Flem!

Why use a copy when you can use the original?

Yikes, the yahoo mail does strikingly look similar to Gmail!

It looks absolutely terrible... i personally think a really old version of hotmail from years ago looks better...
