1990 internet color scheme

7 posts in this topic

Trying to reproduce the old '90s era colors on a page. Don't know really where to look or how the color scheme its called; basic web colors? developer's color scheme? Am I doing it right? Is there such a rule for 'old school kind' of color scheme? Black, green, blue, red?

Don't forget to use lots of gifs and flash buttons that move when you hover over them!!

Edit: Flash buttons may be a little too new for you? If so, just use gif buttons that dance all over the place.

http://www.w3schools.com/html/html_colors.asp

See the bottom of the page.

Alternatively there are 17 standard color names: aqua, black, blue, fuchsia, gray, green, lime, maroon, navy, olive, orange, purple, red, silver, teal, white, and yellow

Sticking to those will produce the desired result.
