Dinggus Posted September 15, 2013 Share Posted September 15, 2013 So I was in the Apple Store, my wife wants an iPhone 5S and telling them how she wants like a 32GB or 64GB because she takes so many photo's, she has to transfer them to the computer all the time. I told her that I use Dropbox and the 2 Apple people stated they use to, but one now uses SugarSync and another uses Copy. One reason one of them switched from Dropbox was because he is switching from Google products due to NSA. Another switched because Copy gives 15GB free, with referral deals. What are you using? You could also use iCloud as a viable system, which automatically uploads your photos to Photo Stream. This will automatically sync to other devices, including Windows PCs which have the iCloud Control Panel installed. iCloud is included with your iTunes account, and is set up as you set up the phone. If, like her you have a 16GB iPad full of photos, there isn't enough space on iCloud. I never really understood that. Apple should give you an iCloud account that reflects the capacity of your device. It's not as if they don't have the money for a few hard drives. With a service such as Flickr, yes you're uploading them and it's publically viewable unless you set it otherwise. I'm looking for an alternative as well and currently trying Google+ out for storing photos in the cloud. Thinking about switching to Flickr though. Do any of these service allow direct linking to images at all?
