Small screen legend Bob Newhart won his first-ever acting Emmy on Sunday at the age of 84 for his guest appearance on "The Big Bang Theory." The comedian ? who was inducted into the TV Academy's Hall of Fame 20 years ago ? has racked up an impressive seven nominations over the course of his illustrious, 50-year career. Shockingly, Bob was never recognized with a nod for his work on "The Bob Newhart Show," which many pop culture historians regard as one of the best sitcoms of all time. He may not have won for his iconic role, but we're glad Mr. Newhart ended his evening with a "bang."
